Framer rebalances marketplace rankings between paid and free listings

The July update also adds instant page navigation, reorganized creator profiles, and a new affiliate application in Settings.
Framer turned its attention to the ecosystem around the builder. The July Community update is a discoverability overhaul, aimed at making the marketplace of templates, plugins, and resources easier to browse, rank more fairly, and load faster, the connective tissue between the people who make Framer resources and the people who use them.
Marketplace, rebalanced
The headline changes target how resources get found. There's now a dedicated marketplace sidebar section, curated landing pages, and, notably, rankings that better balance paid and free resources, a meaningful fairness fix, since discovery algorithms that favor paid listings quietly starve the free work that often brings people in. Creator profiles were reorganized with clearer tabs, and Gallery detail pages now link directly to the featured live sites, so inspiration is one click from the real thing.
Speed as a feature
Performance got real attention too: pages now navigate instantly on click, with faster loading throughout. It's easy to dismiss speed items in a changelog, but for a browse-heavy marketplace, latency is discovery, every slow page is a resource someone didn't scroll to. Alongside it, the Hype feature was refined to showcase community posts exclusively, and a long list of fixes cleaned up search display, back-button navigation, deleted-resource handling, and carousels.
Building the creator economy around the builder
The quieter addition is a new affiliate application in Settings, another sign Framer is investing in the economics of its creator community, not just the product. Between this and the same-week interactive shaders launch, Framer's July reads as a two-front push: better tools inside the canvas, and a healthier marketplace around it. For designers who sell Framer templates or plugins, the ranking rebalance and profile changes are worth a look at how your listings now surface.
