FluidVoice launches on-device dictation, Windows and iPhone in beta
By Steven Van ·
The October 26 post calls it premium on-device dictation. Mac is available, Windows and iPhone are in beta, and the site says it is free.
FluidVoice posted on October 26 that it is here. It calls this premium dictation that runs entirely on your device.
The Mac app is available now on macOS 15 Sequoia or later. Windows is in beta, and the iPhone app is a TestFlight beta. Linux and Android are on the waitlist. FluidVoice said iPhone waitlist emails are not sent because the app is not fully ready.
The site says it is free, open source, and local by default, with optional cloud providers. The post does not name a version or a price. The latest GitHub release is still the October 25 beta, which added Fluid Speech Pro, Fluid 1.1 Splash, and Qwen3 ASR. Replies say Splash can look at the screen, and Whisper large and Cohere are available. The README still says iOS and Windows are on the way.
