Flora ships an MCP server for chat-based agents
By Steven Van ·
Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients can now run Flora Techniques directly from a chat via a one-line install and OAuth sign-in.
Flora now has an MCP server, so any Model Context Protocol client, including Claude, Cursor, VS Code, OpenAI Codex, Hermes Agent, and OpenClaw, can discover and run Flora Techniques from a chat, without code or API wiring. Connecting once lets the agent generate, iterate, branch, and batch using the same Techniques a team already builds in Flora.
The server exposes two tools to the agent: search_docs, which searches the Flora SDK documentation for the right method and parameters, and execute, which runs a TypeScript snippet against a pre-authenticated Flora SDK client covering workspaces, models, Techniques, generations, assets, projects, canvas, actions, and feedback. Setup is a one-line install per client, followed by an OAuth sign-in with the same account used at app.flora.ai. Both the MCP server and the existing API hit the same Techniques and the same workspace billing.
