FLORA now automatically routes each generation to whichever model is proven best for that specific request, removing the guesswork of choosing between dozens of models on the canvas.
FLORA introduced Auto Model Select, aimed squarely at a problem that comes with combining dozens of text, image, and video models on one canvas: knowing which one to actually pick. FLORA's answer is to stop asking. Auto Model Select evaluates what a request actually demands and routes it to the model proven best for that exact task, automatically, on every generation.
The problem with model choice
Multi-model canvases are powerful precisely because they give access to many specialized models, but that strength doubles as friction: a new or even experienced user has to know which image model handles photorealism best, which one is fastest for a rough draft, and which video model holds character consistency, before they've even started the actual creative work. Auto Model Select removes that decision from the workflow entirely, evaluating the request itself and picking accordingly.
Still tunable when it matters
FLORA didn't remove control entirely, users can toggle between 'faster speed' and 'better generation,' letting Auto Model Select optimize for iteration speed during exploration or for final output quality when a piece is closer to done. That's a sensible middle ground: automatic by default, adjustable when the tradeoff actually matters.
Fits FLORA's broader direction
This continues FLORA's push to reduce the operational overhead of a multi-model canvas, following recent additions like the community gallery page and the Timeline Editor. Each of those moves the same direction: keep the model complexity under the hood and let creators focus on describing what they want rather than managing which engine renders it.
