Free gets 500 API requests a day and Pro gets 5,000, while paid team seats contribute to a shared per-minute budget.
Free and Pro accounts on Fireflies.ai now have 10 times their previous daily API quotas. Free rises from 50 to 500 requests per day, while Pro rises from 500 to 5,000.
Daily quotas and minute limits
Free accounts have a limit of 30 requests per minute, and Pro accounts have 60. Daily quotas reset at midnight UTC. The per-minute window starts with the first request and resets 60 seconds later.
Shared budgets for teams
Business and Enterprise teams now share a pool of 60 requests per minute per paid seat, with no daily cap. The pool tops out at 1,200 requests per minute on Business and 2,400 on Enterprise. Free seats do not add capacity.
A 10-seat Business team, for example, shares 600 requests per minute across its users and service accounts. Each user can spend at most half the team's budget, rounded up, with a minimum allowance of 60 requests per minute. Team pooling applies automatically.
The API limits documentation also explains that MCP tool calls and GraphQL requests from the same user share the same budget. When a request receives a 429 response, clients should wait for the number of seconds specified in the Retry-After header before retrying.
