New controls for Enterprise admins

By Steven Van ·

Figma Enterprise admins can set default AI credit access, manage it through SCIM, block external plan creation and automate team setup with REST APIs.

Enterprise admins get four new controls in Figma, covering paid AI credit access, external plan creation and admin APIs. Figma's release note says the changes are rolling out to Enterprise plans in the coming days.

Paid AI credit management

  • Default credit access: admins can assign default per-user access to paid AI credits at the organization and billing group levels. The defaults apply to new and existing users who don't have custom access.
  • SCIM support: an identity provider can configure paid AI credit access and limits for SCIM-managed users.

Plan creation and automation

  • External plan creation: admins can prevent team members from creating new Starter or Professional plans with company email addresses, using the external plan creation feature.
  • Admin REST APIs: new endpoints let admins set up and manage teams, folders and files programmatically.
