Figma Make’s Payload-powered backend is now available to everyone
By Steven Van ·
Figma Make users can now ship websites with a built-in backend powered by Payload CMS, a feature Figma has opened up to everyone.
Figma said on October 23 that the Figma Make backend built with Payload CMS is now available to everyone.
Figma brought Payload, an open-source headless CMS, into Figma Make so sites you build there can ship with a built-in backend. That means content and data can live with the site instead of in a separate service you wire up later.
Figma framed the post as a reminder of the earlier announcement, with the news being wider availability today. It did not list plan requirements.
