fal Worlds lets you explore and direct AI-generated worlds in real time

By Steven Van ·

The new fal experience runs frontier world models such as LingBot World, letting you build characters, explore environments and direct scenes that react as you go.

fal launched fal Worlds on October 15, a new way to create and interact with AI-generated worlds in real time. You can build characters, explore environments and direct scenes, and the world responds to your actions as they unfold.

Official fal Worlds announcement demo.

fal’s explore page groups its examples into two kinds: walkable, explorable worlds such as ancient ruins, a desert valley or a flying castle, and directable scenes that play out a short story you steer. The launch runs frontier world models, including LingBot World and H3 Max Director.

Developers can open the same kind of session through fal’s API. The LingBot World 2 endpoint streams 1664×960 video at 48 fps over WebRTC, takes movement and camera commands, and costs $0.00125 per compute second of video generated. The real-time client is in an alpha release and may change. The announcement does not say whether exploring worlds on fal’s site is free.
