Workspaces: Disable service account API keys: Disable service account API key disables a service…

By Steven Van ·

Workspace admins can switch off a service account key through the API, including after a plan downgrade, and group listings now show concurrency limits.

ElevenLabs has added an API endpoint that disables a service account API key without changing the key's other settings. ElevenLabs lists it under Workspaces in its October 19 release notes.

Disabling a key

The endpoint is POST /v1/service-accounts/:service_account_user_id/api-keys/:api_key_id/disable. It takes the service account user ID and the API key ID as path parameters, and the xi-api-key header is optional. A successful call returns a 200 response, and invalid input returns a 422 error.

The endpoint stays available after a workspace downgrades from a plan that includes service accounts. Turning a key back on still requires that plan.

Group concurrency limits

The same release note covers changes to the workspace group endpoints:

  • List workspace groups and List service accounts now return group_concurrency_limit, group_dubbing_concurrency_limit and group_music_concurrency_limit for each group.
  • Group permissions add all_resources_access.
