The ElevenLabs client library, @elevenlabs/client, has a 1.28.0 release that adds resumable text conversations over WebSocket.
Persistent sessions
The release adds an experimental persistentSession session option. It is meant for text conversations over WebSocket that can be resumed.
Conversation history and metadata
A new onConversationHistory callback receives the transcript rows the server replays when a session resumes. WebSocket sessions now also emit onConversationMetadata.
Dependencies
The patch changes update @elevenlabs/types to 0.25.0.
