SDK releases: JavaScript SDK v2.71.0 - Added clients for agent merge proposals, deployment history

Python gets the same agent clients, while realtime packages add transcript editing and Swift preserves JSON types in dynamic variables.
Developers using ElevenLabs get new agent management clients in JavaScript and Python SDK v2.71.0, alongside updates to realtime transcription, Swift dynamic variables and chat widgets in the October 5 SDK releases.
Agent management in JavaScript and Python
Both SDKs add clients for agent merge proposals, deployment history, test invocation cancellation and Speech Engine duplication. Merge proposals are available in alpha: teams can propose changes from an agent branch, review configuration changes and test results, leave comments or approval decisions, and merge approved changes into a target branch.
The releases also add triage ticket priorities and sorting, batch call export limits, gpt-6.1-sol, claude-sonnet-5-5, Eleven v4 agent voice models and current agent configuration types.
Realtime transcript editing
@elevenlabs/client@1.26.0, @elevenlabs/react@1.16.0, @elevenlabs/react-native@1.2.28 and @elevenlabs/types@0.24.0 add realtime Speech to Text transcript editing through transcriptEdit, the edited_transcript event and React’s onEditedTranscript callback. React also forwards filterBackgroundAudio to realtime sessions. The client exports MessagePayload and uses stable response IDs to prevent duplicate agent replies.
Swift variables and widget attachments
Swift SDK v3.4.0 preserves native JSON types for dynamic variables sent in conversation initiation data.
The core and embed conversation widget packages, both at v0.18.3, add image previews and download links for agent message attachments, including attachment-only replies. They also use stable response IDs to prevent duplicate replies, while text-only conversations get a stop control with an End chat tooltip.
