ElevenLabs has made procedures generally available in ElevenAgents. A procedure bundles task-specific instructions with a trigger that determines when they apply, so an agent can load the right instructions mid-conversation instead of carrying every instruction in its system prompt.
- Free-form procedures let the agent adapt the wording or order of instructions.
- Structured procedures define steps the agent must follow in a fixed order.
