ElevenLabs' Music v2 adds inpainting and mid-track genre shifts
The model behind ElevenMusic, ElevenCreative and ElevenAPI also cuts pricing on the latter two by up to 40-50%.
ElevenLabs has released Music v2, the model behind its music tools, with better vocals, richer instrumentation and improved multilingual support. The update adds inpainting: selecting any section of a track, such as a bridge or chorus, and regenerating just that part without touching the rest. It also handles mid-track genre transitions (opera to heavy metal and back, for example) within a single continuous song, and lyrics and vocals that sound native to the language they're written in. The model is trained only on licensed data and every track generated is cleared for commercial use.
Music v2 powers three products: ElevenLabs's ElevenMusic for creating, remixing and developing tracks; ElevenCreative, which offers licensed music for ads and video, with pricing cut by up to 40%; and ElevenAPI, for embedding music generation into other products, with pricing cut by up to 50%.
