Devin in Pylon: Driving faster Median Time To Fix
By Steven Van ·
Support teams can trigger Devin from Pylon tickets, and new Devin customers on Pylon get $15,000 in credits.
Devin now has a native integration with Pylon, so support teams can start Devin investigations from a ticket and hand engineers a session where the first pass is already done. Devin announced the integration on 13 October 2026.
What Devin does with a flagged ticket
When a ticket is flagged for engineering, Devin starts straight away. It digs into logs, reproduces the bug, finds the root cause and opens a PR with a fix. Support follows progress in Pylon, and engineers take over the linked session to land the fix. Updates sync both ways, so nobody has to relay context or chase status.
Beyond bug reports, support teams can use Devin in Pylon to:
- search the codebase for answers to product questions
- generate screenshots and video demos
- scope out implementations for small feature requests
How the workflow runs
Devin's example is a customer reporting that rate-limited API requests return a 500 instead of a 429. The steps are:
- Pylon triggers Devin with the customer's report, and Devin assesses priority and begins investigating.
- Devin searches Linear, GitHub and other recent Devin sessions for a known issue or a related fix already in flight.
- It traces the wrong response to an underlying serialization error, updates the Linear ticket with its findings and tags an engineer in an internal Slack thread.
- It fixes the underlying error rather than the status code, adds four regression tests and opens a PR for review.
- Engineers review the changes and test results in Slack and merge. PR updates return to Pylon, and any customer follow-up in Pylon is forwarded to the linked Devin session.
Support stays in Pylon, while engineers work with Devin in Slack or Linear. Devin says that in its own use of the integration it has shipped fixes about 30% faster, and that it can open a PR and tag an engineer in as little as 15 to 20 minutes.
