Go SDK v3.9.0

By Steven Van ·

Go developers get typed Voice Agent function calls and management endpoints for reusable configurations and template variables.

Voice Agent function calls in Deepgram Go SDK v3.9.0 now use typed requests, responses, and cancellation events, with support for the current function-call protocol.

Function settings

Function settings accept arbitrary JSON Schema properties. Client-side functions can also omit an endpoint.

Reusable configurations and variables

The Management client adds create, list, get, update, and delete endpoints for reusable Voice Agent configurations and Agent template variables. Configurations are stored and returned as JSON strings. Configuration updates replace metadata only, while template variable values accept any JSON type.

The release notes report successful live validation of a function request, its response, and the assistant follow-up, plus the full configuration and template-variable lifecycle.
