DaVinci Resolve 21 adds AI search, refocusing, and a stills page
By Steven Van ·
The free release includes IntelliSearch, CineFocus, new title effects, Fairlight folder tracks, and a dedicated Photo page.
DaVinci Resolve 21 adds hundreds of new features, including two new AI tools and a dedicated page for editing still images.
- IntelliSearch lets editors search footage by content rather than filename or metadata.
- CineFocus adjusts the focal point of a shot after the fact.
- New motion graphic effects for building titles and graphics.
- Fairlight adds folder tracks for organising audio in the mixer.
- A new Photo page handles editing of still images.
Full details are in Blackmagic Design's announcement.
Where does `` point in the post — is that the link to the product's page or announcement? That link points to the vendor's original announcement (Blackmagic Design's press release), not the product page. Per the style guide, the two required links are separate: the product name (**DaVinci Resolve**) links once to its page on the site, `/tools/davinci-resolve`, on first mention in the opening sentence — and the announcement is linked once to the vendor's original URL, which I placed on the closing "Blackmagic Design's announcement" text.
