Contra adds a payment link you can share anywhere

By Steven Van ·

A shareable checkout collects a one-time payment or a subscription and writes an invoice when it is paid. The post does not list fees.

On October 29, Contra posted a custom payment link you can share with anyone, at any time. The help center explains what that link actually does.

Official Contra announcement demo.

A payment link is a checkout a client can complete without a project or a one-off invoice. You give it a title, a short description, and a price, either one-time or a subscription, and you can add pricing tiers. Contra generates an invoice when the link is paid. You can edit a live link, and the change shows up immediately, or deactivate it.

Paid funds go to the independent's wallet. Contra says ACH and SEPA payments have to settle before they are released. The October 29 post does not list platform fees.
