OpenAI adds Mac app access, more tool connections, image generation, and memory to the cloud coding agent Codex.
Codex can now use apps on a user's Mac, connect to more tools, generate images, learn from previous actions, remember how a user likes to work, and take on ongoing and repeatable tasks, according to the announcement.
