Claude Cowork comes to every conversation

The Cowork and chat modes are merging, with the change rolling out gradually to Pro and Max plans on web, desktop, and mobile.
Claude no longer asks you to choose a mode before you start. Anthropic is rolling out a new experience that makes everything Claude Cowork does available from any conversation, so a quick question and a bigger task, like a report, spreadsheet, or presentation, can begin in the same chat. Existing chats, Cowork tasks, projects, connectors, and skills carry over into the merged experience, which is rolling out gradually to Pro and Max plans on web, desktop, and mobile.
