Claude Artifacts get public sharing and multiplayer editing

Claude Code users can now publish Artifacts as shareable links and co-edit them with teammates, with creation also supported via Claude Tag.
Claude's Artifacts, the live apps, pages, and tools Claude builds inside a conversation, just became something you build with other people and hand to anyone. Artifacts now support public sharing and multiplayer editing in Claude Code, and can be created with Claude Tag.
From private output to shareable product
Until now an Artifact largely lived where it was made. Public sharing turns it into a URL anyone can open, which is the difference between showing someone a demo and giving them a working thing. A small tool, a calculator, a visualization, an interactive page can now be produced in one Claude session and distributed with a link, no deploy step, no hosting setup.
Multiplayer changes how they're built
Multiplayer editing in Claude Code is the bigger shift for teams. More than one person can work on the same Artifact together, so building with Claude stops being a solo activity and becomes collaborative, the same move that made Google Docs and Figma sticky. Combined with creation via Claude Tag (Claude in Slack), it means an Artifact can start in a Slack thread, get refined by a team, and ship as a shared link, all without leaving the tools people already work in.
Why it matters for creators and teams
Artifacts have quietly become one of the fastest ways to turn an idea into a working interactive thing. Making them shareable and collaborative pushes them from a personal scratchpad toward a lightweight way to ship real deliverables, internal tools, prototypes, client-facing pages, without the usual build-and-host overhead. For anyone using Claude Code day to day, it's the feature that lets the things you make there leave the room.
