ChatGPT Space brings people, pages, and AI together

By Steven Van ·

OpenAI’s new Space lets teams collaborate on shared pages with ChatGPT, Codex, and dots. It is available on Pro, Business, and Enterprise.

OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Space, a shared home for pages and files where teammates can work with each other and with AI. Space replaces Library for eligible users and gives a team one place to build on the same context.

What you can do in Space

People with edit access can work on a page at the same time, leave comments, and tag ChatGPT or a dot to make changes. ChatGPT, Codex, and dots can help turn shared research and plans into documents, prototypes, and other work. You can also give a page instructions so ChatGPT knows what to update and which sources to use.

A team space can hold shared files, pages, slides, and spreadsheets. Space helps members find that work later, while AI can use it as context for follow-up tasks. OpenAI says collaborative slides and spreadsheets are coming soon.

Availability

Space is available on ChatGPT Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans on web and desktop. On mobile, members can find, read, and share pages; creating and editing pages are coming later. Workspace sharing still follows admin settings.

See the Space guide for setup and sharing details.
