ChatGPT for Financial Services

ChatGPT for Financial Services pairs GPT-6 Astra with built-in data from Daloopa, PitchBook, LSEG News and Crunchbase, shaped with Morgan Stanley and Evercore.
OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT for Financial Services, a version of ChatGPT Work built for banking and investment teams. It pairs GPT-6 Astra's reasoning with financial data built into the product, so teams can develop research, build financial models, and produce customized client materials without setting up separate data connectors.
The built-in data comes from providers including Daloopa, PitchBook, LSEG News, and Crunchbase, indexed and hosted by OpenAI. That supports granular citations, letting users trace a figure or claim back to its source as their analysis develops. Firms can centrally manage access and data connections through ChatGPT's existing enterprise security and governance controls.
The product was shaped through a design partnership with Morgan Stanley and Evercore. OpenAI says the initial focus is investment banking and equity research, with the partner work informing future post-training, product changes, and expansion into other financial services categories.
