Tesseract opens its Premiere and After Effects converter

By Steven Van ·

The MIT Rust CLI converts editable project files, with partial Premiere support and experimental After Effects export.

Editable projects can move between Adobe applications and Tesseract through Mirage's open-source Rust converter.

Supported directions

The MIT-licensed CLI imports Premiere Pro PRPROJ and After Effects AEP files into TSRCT projects. Premiere import and export are partial, After Effects import is partial, and After Effects export is experimental.

Review converted projects

Unsupported features may be approximated or omitted. Keep the originals and review conversion warnings and the resulting project in the destination application. The converter creates project files; playback, editing and video rendering happen in Tesseract or Adobe.

See the official repository for installation and compatibility details.
