Captions launches Cappy, a video editor that works over text
Free in beta on iPhone and Android, it edits clips sent by text or voice note and revises them from follow-up messages.
Cappy, from Captions, is a video editor that works entirely through text messages: open the messages app, text the number, and send a clip, some photos, a link, or a voice note with a script. Cappy figures out structure, pacing, and style, sends back an edited video, and revises it based on follow-up texts until it's ready to save and share.
It's aimed at people who don't have time to learn an editing app, such as small business owners handling their own social media. The announcement says Cappy is in beta and free to try for a limited time, on iPhone and Android.
