A new Captions feature edits real filmed clips instead of generating video from a prompt.
Mirage has launched AI Edit, a feature in Captions that turns raw, unedited footage into a finished video. Rather than generating video from a prompt, it works on real clips a creator has already filmed, handling the post-production step of turning that footage into an edited result.
Mirage frames it as addressing post-production specifically, on the reasoning that for creators and business owners, filming is rarely the bottleneck: finishing the edit is. Details are in the announcement.
