Cap for Agents lets an agent search your entire library, understand recordings, pull out action items, reply to comments, and even record and share your screen for you, and it works with Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and more.
Recordings become searchable, actionable memory
The most useful piece is that an agent can now search and understand your recordings, not just find a file by name, but reason about what's inside them. Every screen recording you've made becomes queryable knowledge: ask the agent what was decided in that walkthrough, or which recording covered a bug, and it pulls the answer. Add "pull out action items" and your library of demos and standups turns into a source of tasks rather than a pile of videos you never rewatch.
The agent can record for you
The genuinely novel bit is that the agent can record and share your screen on your behalf. That flips screen capture from a manual thing you do into something you can delegate, ask the agent to capture and share a walkthrough, and it handles the recording and the link. Combined with replying to comments, an agent can run a good chunk of the async-communication loop that Cap is built for: record, share, respond.
