Canva has added AI assistant support to Magic Layers, letting users break a design into separate, editable layers for every visual element. The feature works from Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot, so a design started in any of those assistants can be pulled apart and remixed inside Canva.
