Canva AI 2.0 will add OpenAI's GPT Image 2

OpenAI's GPT Image 2 is coming to Canva AI 2.0, according to a post on X. Canva says the model brings more detailed image generations along with what it calls "creative intelligence," and pairs with Magic Layers so generated images can be edited layer by layer, like a design file rather than a flat picture.
No rollout date was given beyond "shortly." See the announcement for details.
