Canva Code 2.0 opens vibe coding to free accounts

Canva just made vibe coding a default feature of the world's most popular design tool. Canva Code 2.0 is now available to all of Canva's 265+ million monthly users, on every tier including free accounts, turning "describe a website" into something anyone with a Canva login can do, then refine like a design rather than a codebase.
Prompt, template, or paste your HTML
Code 2.0 gives three on-ramps. Start from a text prompt and let the AI build the site or interactive app; start from one of 50+ dedicated templates for interactive designs; or import existing HTML and keep working on it inside Canva. Per 9to5Mac, the HTML import and real-time collaboration are new in 2.0, and generation is now 75% faster than the first version.
The differentiator: edit it like a design
What separates Canva's approach from the wave of vibe-coding tools is what happens after generation. The output isn't a code sandbox, it's a Canva design: you adjust colors, fonts, images, and text directly in the editor you already know, and teammates can collaborate on it in real time.
