Base44's Superagent becomes a Chrome extension

It can now see the page you're on and act directly, filling forms, pulling data, and updating CRMs.
Base44 moved its Superagent out of a tab and onto every page you visit. It's now a Chrome extension that lives inside your browser, sees what you see, and acts in real time. It can fill forms, pull data, book tickets, and update CRMs, all on the page in front of you.
An agent with eyes on the page
The leap here is context. A chat-based agent operates blind to what you're actually looking at; a browser extension that sees the current page can act with full awareness of it. That's what lets Superagent do the concrete things it lists, filling a form means reading the fields in front of it, updating a CRM means acting on the record you're viewing. The agent stops being a separate destination and becomes something that works right where your task already is.
Real-time action, not just suggestion
"Acts in real time" is the operative promise. Plenty of assistants can tell you what to do; an agent embedded in the page can do it, on your behalf, on the actual site. The examples, forms, data extraction, ticket booking, CRM updates, are the repetitive web chores that eat hours: the copy-from-here-paste-into-there work that's too fiddly to script but too tedious to enjoy. Handing those to an agent that sees and clicks is a direct time win.
Base44 broadening its agent
Superagent has been expanding its reach, Slack and iMessage integrations earlier, and now a browser extension. The through-line is putting the agent wherever work happens rather than confining it to one app. A Chrome extension is arguably the biggest of those surfaces, since so much knowledge work is just tasks across web pages. It also fits Base44's broader run of releases (Components Library, Opus 5) toward a more capable, more present agent.
