Anthropic's Compliance API can now pull transcripts of Cowork and Claude Code sessions that run locally on a user's machine, giving organizations a way to audit how their teams use Claude on their own devices.
- Three new endpoints list an organization's local sessions, retrieve a single session's metadata, and return its full transcript. They use the same Compliance Access Key and read:compliance_user_data scope as the rest of the Compliance API, and are in beta for Claude Enterprise organizations. Details are in the release notes.
- The Claude API now returns an anthropic-workspace-id response header on every request, carrying the wrkspc_-prefixed ID of the workspace that the request's API key or access token resolved to, including an organization's Default Workspace.
