Cache reads now cost 0.05x the base input price, while cache writes and all other prices remain unchanged.
Prompt cache reads for Claude Sonnet 5.5 now cost half as much. Anthropic lowered the price from $0.20 USD to $0.10 USD per million tokens in its October 7 release notes.
The new rate is 0.05x the base input price, down from 0.1x. Cache writes and all other prices are unchanged.
