Custom GPTs Are Retiring: How to Migrate Before Dec 11

Quickchat's migration guide covers moving a custom GPT before its December 11, 2026 retirement. FedRAMP and qualifying Enterprise workspaces with approved deferrals have until February 11, 2027.

You can move to a ChatGPT plugin or use the Quickchat AI plugin to build a Quickchat Agent for a website, public link, or other channels. Save the GPT's instructions, original knowledge files, action definitions, and example answers for testing. Remove keys and tokens from the material you attach.

The ChatGPT migration requires recreating custom actions. The Quickchat route can configure and test an Agent from your files, with test replies using Quickchat AI credits. Existing GPT conversations remain accessible after retirement, though the GPT and its page do not.
