Obsidian 1.14 Desktop (Public)

Obsidian 1.14 Desktop lets you open individual Markdown files outside a vault. Local images and links resolve from the file's folder, and macOS Quick Look can preview Markdown files even when Obsidian is closed.

Opening individual files requires the latest installer, so you'll need to download Obsidian from its website and reinstall the app.

The public release also adds a kanban view for Bases, where you can drag cards between groups, plus six highlight colors available through the formatting menu or by typing == in the editor.
