Identify more in-store customers with POS

Shopify POS can recognize eligible shoppers who previously checked out at a store using Shopify Payments. When they choose a digital receipt through Shop, email, or text and share their details, the purchase connects to a customer profile in your customer list.

This requires POS v11.17, Shopify Payments for POS, and Shopify Network Intelligence enabled in admin. A buyer-facing display needs Customer View v11.17 or later. Without a buyer-facing display, enable customer receipt selection in Shopify admin.

Adding someone to your customer list doesn't grant marketing consent. They must opt in before you market to them.
