About Oddgrid

Oddgrid is a browser tool for generating pixelated grid artwork. You set the shape (aspect ratio, grid detail), then shape the pattern with dials for zoom, fill, grain, patchiness, blockiness, block size, and speckle. Cell marks are customisable and accept your own uploaded SVG shapes, palettes are editable with an adjustable colour spread, and motion controls cover movement intensity, speed, and loop length.

Generation is seeded, so a result you like can be reproduced and refined rather than re-rolled. Export as PNG, vector SVG, animated SVG, or video — animated exports need motion turned on. Free to use, no signup.
