## What is HeroUI?

HeroUI (formerly NextUI) is a React UI library built on top of React Aria and Tailwind CSS v4. It ships accessible, production-ready components that are beautiful out of the box and fully customizable. Supports React Server Components, works with Next.js and other React frameworks, and positions itself as a modern alternative to heavier libraries like MUI and Chakra UI.

The component set covers everything from buttons and modals to data tables and date pickers.
