# Release notes for version 1.23.1b

By Steven Van · 2026-10-06

The Library gains a closed-tab filter and clearing controls, while fixes address sidebar opacity and failed macOS downloads.

The Library in [Zen Browser](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/apps/zen-browser>) gains a closed-tab filter, a keyboard shortcut and clearing options in version 1.23.1b. The update also fixes sidebar opacity and a download problem on macOS.

## Library controls

A new option filters closed tabs instead of history entries. The Library can now be opened with opt/alt + shift + L. Right-clicking its respective section tabs provides “Clear all downloads” and “Clear history” options.

## Fixes and Firefox update

The release fixes transparent sidebars having low opacity. It also fixes downloads failing on macOS when Firefox is set to ask where to save files but lacks permission to access the Downloads folder.

The [release notes](<https://www.zen-browser.app/release-notes/1.23.1b>) also list an update to Firefox 157.0.1, alongside other bug fixes and improvements.
