# Zen Browser says Boost sharing is officially here

By Steven Van · 2026-10-29

Zen's account posted that you can share a Boost. Release notes through October 20 do not yet explain how a shared Boost is installed.

On October 29, [Zen Browser](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/apps/zen-browser>) posted that Boost sharing is officially here. The line with it is that handwork should carry your signature.

A Boost, in Zen's release notes, is a per-site customization: theme, type, and the Zap and Focus controls that sit on top of it. Sharing would let someone else use a Boost you made. The October 29 post is the announcement that this is available, and the video is the demo.

Zen's release notes through version 1.23.4b on October 20 do not describe Boost sharing. They do describe sharing spaces, folders, and splits in an earlier version. The post does not say how a shared Boost is installed, or whether it works on every platform Zen ships.
