# YouTube refreshes its homepage and adds custom feeds you describe

By Steven Van · 2026-10-22

A simpler top bar puts subscriptions, Movies & TV, Live, Music and your own custom feeds, built from a described topic or vibe, one tap away.

[YouTube](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/youtube>) rolled out a refreshed homepage on October 22, built around a new, simplified top bar.

The top bar gives quick access to your subscriptions alongside Movies & TV, Live, Music and your custom feeds.

Custom feeds are personalized saved searches that go beyond keywords. You can describe a type of content, a topic or even a vibe, and then browse recommendations that keep updating as new videos become available. You can add, edit or remove custom feeds from the top bar at any time.

For creators, custom feeds are another way viewers can find videos by topic or mood rather than by channel. YouTube did not say whether the rollout covers every country and device at once.
