# Webflow's quick access shortcut now opens your assigned role

By Steven Van · 2026-05-25

The ?update shortcut opens the canvas in your site role or default preview role, instead of a generic default.

Webflow's quick access shortcut (?update) now opens the canvas in your assigned site role, rather than a default. If you've set a [default preview role](<https://webflowmarketingmain.com/updates/quick-access-update>) for that site, quick access respects that too.
