# Webflow components get per-instance attribute control

By Steven Van · 2026-05-06

A new Attributes prop and dynamic name/value bindings let any element's attributes vary by instance, CMS field, or page data, on all plans.

Webflow has expanded custom attribute control for [Webflow](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/webflow>) components. A new Attributes prop can be connected to any element inside a component, so the whole list of attributes can be changed or extended per instance. All elements now also support connecting an attribute's name or value to a prop, CMS field, or page data, making individual attributes dynamic.

The [update](<https://webflow.com/updates/dynamic-attributes-for-components>) is available now on all plans.
