# Webflow's DevLink export rebuilds React code generation By Steven Van · 2026-05-06 Exports now cover conditional visibility, variable modes, and nested components, with governance controls on paid workspace plans. [Webflow]() has rearchitected the DevLink export engine for faster, more reliable component exports from Webflow designs into React code. The update also adds: - Broader Webflow feature support: exports now handle conditional visibility, variable modes and collections, nested library components, and native props and slots, so exported components render exactly as they do in Webflow. - Cleaner code output: full TypeScript coverage, de-duped variable names, and clean, scoped CSS files. - Enterprise-grade governance: export permissions can be managed through user roles or API tokens, and every export is tracked in the site activity log with full attribution. The new DevLink export is generally available on all paid workspace plans and select site plans. Beta users keep complimentary access to the beta version for six months with no action required. To move to the new version, update the CLI and use the **webflow devlink export** command in place of the old **webflow devlink sync**. Webflow is also deprecating DevLink props and slots in favor of the new native ones; existing DevLink props and slots keep working but will show a deprecation warning in the Designer, with an in-canvas Convert action to migrate automatically.
