# Webflow Cloud lets developers deploy apps without a site

A new App Project Type and One Click Deploy button take apps straight from repository to production, hosted at the root domain.

Webflow Cloud now lets developers deploy apps without first creating a site. A new **App Project Type** can be created on its own, and a One Click Deploy button launches an app directly from a repository.

- Create an App Project Type without a site, for projects that don't need a marketing surface

- Deploy apps using the One Click Deploy button

- Host apps at the root domain, not just a subpath
