# Zero-configuration support for Nitro

By Steven Van · 2025-07-03

Nitro, the toolkit behind Nuxt.js, TanStack Start, and SolidStart, deploys to Vercel automatically, with previews, fluid compute, and firewall included.

Vercel now offers [zero-configuration support for Nitro](<https://nitro.build/deploy/providers/vercel>), the backend toolkit for building web servers that powers frameworks including Nuxt.js, TanStack Start, and SolidStart. Deploying a Nitro app to [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) automatically comes with preview deployments, fluid compute, observability, and the Vercel Firewall.

Nitro's top-level "/api" directory isn't compatible with Vercel; apps should use "routes/api/" instead.
