# Zero-configuration Go backend support

Go servers now deploy on Vercel as first-class backends, with automatic scaling and Active CPU pricing by default.

Go API backends can now be deployed on [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) with zero configuration. Vercel recognises Go servers as first-class backends and provisions and configures the application automatically, without redirects in vercel.json or the /api folder convention.

These backends run on Fluid compute with Active CPU pricing by default, so a Go API scales automatically with traffic and only active CPU time is billed rather than idle capacity. [Read the announcement](<https://vercel.com/changelog/zero-configuration-go-backend-support>).
