# View & query bot verification data in Vercel Observability

By Steven Van · 2025-09-30

Observability Plus subscribers can now query bot name, category, and verification status for Edge Requests at no extra cost.

Vercel's Edge Requests dashboard in [Observability](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) now shows verification badges next to bot names, so teams can see at a glance which bots hitting their site are verified. Every request claiming to come from a known bot is cross-checked against Vercel's directory of verified bots and validated against strict criteria.

The query builder for Edge Requests also gains three new dimensions:

- Bot name: identify specific bots

- Bot category: group bots by type

- Bot verified: distinguish between verified, spoofed, and unverifiable bots

All users can view the verification badges. Querying this bot data is included at no extra cost for **Observability Plus** subscribers. Read more in the [announcement](<https://vercel.com/changelog/view-and-query-bot-verification-data-in-vercel-observability>).
