# Vercel MCP can now deploy code

The deploy\_to\_vercel tool lets Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients build, host, and hand back a live URL without leaving the chat.

The Vercel MCP server can now deploy code directly to a new or existing project. When a connected AI assistant finishes building something, it can ship it to [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) and hand back a shareable URL without leaving the chat.

The *deploy\_to\_vercel* tool takes a project's files, creates the project, detects the framework, installs dependencies, and builds it. The URL comes back right away, so it can be opened and shared while the build finishes in the background.

To use it, connect the [Vercel MCP server](<https://vercel.com/docs/mcp/vercel-mcp>) to Claude, Cursor, or any other supported MCP client, then ask it to deploy the project.
