# Vercel launches partner certification By Steven Van · 2025-12-10 Eleven agencies, including AKQA and Code and Theory, are the first to earn Vercel's new Solution Partner certification. Vercel has certified its first cohort of Solution Partners: eleven agencies it says have a proven record delivering Next.js and Vercel projects, from redesigns to complex enterprise migrations and new product development. The inaugural group includes AKQA, Americaneagle.com, Artisan Studios, Blazity, Code and Theory, Grid Dynamics, Horizontal, Jakala, Monogram, UNRVLD and Verndale. The certification, [announced]() by [Vercel](), tests expertise across three areas: the Vercel platform (Developer Experience Platform, Managed Infrastructure, Observability & Analytics), Next.js development, and AI Cloud (AI SDK, v0.app, Workflow). Partners must certify a minimum number of developers on their team, and recertify each time Vercel ships a major Next.js or Vercel release. Certified partners are featured as "Certified" in Vercel's partner directory and work more closely with Vercel's Professional Services and go-to-market teams to get matched with customers. Vercel says customers including Minnesota Star Tribune, Boston Beer Company, Alchemy and Stanley Black & Decker have already used certified partners on Next.js and Vercel projects.
