# Vercel database templates now support any marketplace provider

By Steven Van · 2025-02-11

Postgres and Redis starter templates for Next.js, Nuxt.js, SvelteKit, Kysely and Drizzle now let you pick any Marketplace provider at deploy.

Vercel's database starter templates no longer tie you to a single provider. When deploying, you can now pick any Postgres or Redis provider listed in the Vercel Marketplace. The [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) templates are now provider-agnostic, so alternative database and key-value stores work with the same developer experience as before.

The [update](<https://vercel.com/changelog/vercel-database-templates-now-support-any-marketplace-provider>) covers these templates:

- **Redis:** Nuxt.js, Next.js, SvelteKit

- **Postgres:** Next.js, Nuxt.js, SvelteKit, Kysely, Drizzle

Vercel's documentation explains how to deploy your own.
